A direct debit can be set up online for most of our clients.
With direct debit there is:
- no worrying about having cash or cheques
- no envelopes to complete
How do we set it up?
All we need is an email from the payer with their name, address, phone, how much they want the debit to be and what dates the debit should be:
Rent: 1st of the month
Tuition: 1st of the month
Donations: 15th and/or the last day of the month.
The rest is all done online, no forms to fill out, or to send in.
After we receive the email from the payer we set up the direct debit online.
The payer will receive an email from Plooto asking for their banking information to be entered online.
The payer can sign in with their bank card, and be immediately set up, or, they can enter their transit, institution, and bank account number. If they do the latter, Plooto will then deposit a penny into their bank account with a PIN code beside it.
When the payer sees this entry on their bank statement, they grab the PIN enter this code into Plooto which demonstrates we have the correct banking information set up (and aren't debiting the wrong account).
Thats it! Done.
